Time goes by,
The race goes on,
There’s something about a dream,
That makes you carry on.
Every time you close your eyes,
You can see it there before you,
You can try it on for size,
And it feels just like you thought it would.
So you move ahead,
With every single moment.
Never turning your head,
Like the cat hunting the rodent.
When you’ve come a long way,
It’s your appetite that drives you,
Ever closer to the day,
When you finally find the dream you hunger for.
