A New Chapter and a New Name

Posted in   The Echo and the Voice   on  July 9, 2025 by  Mark0

If you’ve been following this journey here at MarkFirehammer.com, thank you. What began as a personal reckoning with old songs and forgotten stories has now become a fully realized novel—and I’m thrilled to tell you that The Echo and the Voice is complete and will be released soon.

To carry this story into the world, I’ve chosen to publish under a new pen name: J.W. Kindbloom. It’s not a disguise, but a creative choice—one that honors the transformation this project asked of me, and the kind of remembering it invites from all of us.

From now on, updates, reflections, and behind-the-scenes content will live at JWKindbloom.com. If you’ve been walking this path with me, I’d love for you to follow me there.

The story is ready. The remembering begins.

See you on the new page.

—Mark (J.W.)
