Moving people with music

Songs in The Key Of Return

Songs in the Key of Return is performed by Jonas Wilder, a fictional character from the novel The Echo and the Voice by J.W. Kindbloom.

The songs were written by Mark Firehammer—the songwriter behind the music and the author behind the name J.W. Kindbloom. In this project, he brings Jonas to life in both voice and story, using music as a way to trace the emotional arc of a character in search of something lost.

The album is part of a larger multimedia experience—where fiction and melody converge, and story lives on through song.

Whether you’ve read the book or not, each track offers its own moment of return—a chance to remember what matters and rediscover the voice that’s always been yours.

The AI Artists Imagined Collection

The Artists Imagined series—a collection of my original songs spanning four decades, some updated to reflect the world we live in today. After mastering the use of artificial intelligence in creative work last year, I’ve brought these songs to life in a whole new way. Each track is reimagined through the lens of the artists I hear in my head, transforming my long-time vision into reality.

This collection has 40 recordings of nearly 30 songs, organized by genre; Country, Folk Americana, Rock and a pop dance collection! Click through to explore and give a listen!

Singer-Songwriter Albums

I released 2 singer-songwriter albums before retiring from touring in 1999. The first album "Mark Firehammer And the Forge" is a studio album with lots of contribute in talent recorded and produced by my friend Casey Chester in New York City. The second album was released in 2000 after five years on the road recording hundreds of shows live at coffee houses, bookstores and college campuses up and down the East Coast. The result was a collection of 10 of my favorite takes of my favorite songs.
