Welcome to Artist Imagined, where you’ll find original songs written by me starting in 1984. Back when I was making music, I only recorded 23 out of nearly 100 songs that I considered finished. In 2025, at 62, I didn’t want those songs to fade away, so I turned to AI to help bring them to life in different genres. Think of this project as more of a fun exploration rather than polished, radio-ready hits. It’s like a demo—something songwriters make to show others how a song could sound. I started with 10 country songs in the Heartland’s Collection, then did a chimeric collection with 10 more. After that, I decided to get creative and make two more collections using the same 10 songs—one with rock versions called Heart Beats and another with dance pop versions called Heart Throbs. The result is what you’ll find here, under the Artist Imagined section of the site. Pay attention to the lyrics—you’ll notice some small changes to fit the style of each imagined artist. It was a really fun process, and I hope you enjoy it.
Why I Did It
Being a "craft skilled" songwriter, means writing songs that are meant for another performers, television, movies etc. wherever music can be found!
Just a few short years ago the only way to do a demo of the song to show publishers or artists ways your song can be heard, cost significant time and money booking recording studios and hiring musicians. Artificial intelligence since 2024 has increased its capacity used as a creative tool.
