About Mark Firehammer & the Forge
This album was truly a gift made possible by the generosity of others like Casey Chester, drummer and producer. It was recorded mostly in 1995 while I was working as a street performer in New York City. Other credits are below for the many musicians on this project.
This was a studio project that was recorded at a number of places in New York City including, The Very Famous Recording Studio, called "The Edison", the studio where Casey worked every day Michael Levine Music, a commercial and scoring house, most famous contribution that you would know about would be the jingle for "Kit Kat" the candy bar! We also recorded a lot of drum tracks on the top level of the apartment the Casey and I shared with another roommate Adam. Casey had his drum set there so would track the drums at home and then bring them to the studio using his magic piece it all together to get the final product done.
